Looking to find out more about Bowie's appeal?
Beautiful Bowie is an intelligent, chatty and sensitive girl who still has plenty of energy. She loves nothing more than going for long walks, playing a good game of fetch then coming home and cuddling up on the sofa.

How Rehoming WorksBowie is currently living in a foster home until her new forever home is found. She can sometimes be grumpy around other dogs so we’d prefer to find her a home in a rural, semi-rural or low dog populated area so that she can enjoy her walks without coming into constant contact with lots of other dogs. She doesn't cope well with being left alone so looking for a home where there is someone around during the day. Due to her vocal nature she wouldn't be suitable to live in a flat. She can live with sensible teenagers of sixteen years of age and older providing they are used to being around dogs. She has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and is up to date with flea & worm treatment. She has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed.
Bowie is a sweetie and such a loving dog. Despite her size she thinks she's a lapdog and will curl up with as much of her on you as she can get, and she really likes having her butt scratched with the rubber zoom groom. Yes, she's shouty but you can pre-empt that most of the time and she's easily distracted to calm down, cuddling is also a very effective tool for calming her down. Most of the time she doesn't show her age and plays with enthusiasm well below her years. She plays by herself with toys often and really enjoys things like the long snake and the squeaky toys and the duck, but doesn't go bananas like she does with tennis balls. She's been out with me for longer walks in the countryside, 8 miles and 9 miles on consecutive days at the weekend. She could have easily carried on and was not weary.
There is a lot to consider before adopting a new family member
